Northern Hemisphere
In all places north of the equator, water and weather patterns will swirl counter-clockwise. The Coriolis effect causes the wind and other objects to veer to the left in the northern hemisphere. Hurricanes and Tornados also veer to the left in the northern hemisphere because of the Coriolis effect.
